"Evident commands of Enlightened..."

& Shrimadji said... "Directives given in the scriptures are remote; they are meant for enabling the soul to be deserving. For attaining liberation one has to resort to the evident commands of Enlightened..."

"True purpose of human life..."

& Shrimadji said... "Please consider what is the real gain with increase of wealth or growth of status or expansion of family and relations? 


That merely extends the life cycle and true purpose of human life is lost thereby. 


Alas, you do not think of it even for a moment!"

"Resorting to a true Guru..."

& Shrimadji said... "Scriptures are hard to understand even by a highly intelligent person. They can be easily and correctly understood by resorting to a true Guru..."

"Serving at the feet of the true Guide..."

& Shrimadji said... "Absolute objectives cannot be perceived without the eyes of enlightenment. They can be visualized by serving at the feet of the true Guide..."

& Shrimadji said... "An Enlightened Being is one whose attention is focused within, day and night; 


what He says may not be in the scriptures, may not even have been heard before, but can be experienced; 


whose actions are not easy to understand because they do not spring from any intrinsic desires. 


Nothing more remains to be said. 


Without doing this, liberation is not possible. 


consider these words, coming out of my own experience, as truthful..."

"This worldly cycle (of life and death)..."

& Shrimadji said..."Tell me what has one gained by increasing wealth and power? Think what does one achieve by expanding his family and relations. What increases is only this worldly cycle (of life and death), while one wastes his precious human life. Alas!!! Would you not think about it even for a moment?"

"Eradication of Karma without much effort..."

& Shrimadji said... "Worshipping the Lord leads to manifestation of blissful nature; thereby all types of distress and afflictions occurring in mind come to the end; that results in large scale eradication of Karma without much effort; you can thus terminate the worldly life by worshipping the Lord..."

"Have innocent view towards others..."

& Shrimadji said... "One should look towards his own faults to the utmost possible extent and have innocent view towards others. As far as possible he should resort to detachment and calmed down state. That is the foremost thing to remember..."

It has mostly abided in lower states of existence and has not gained true happiness even for a moment. What can hold it from falling into lower states of existence is called Dharma..."

& Shrimadji said..."A disentangled Guru washes the soul-cloth by putting it on the stone of right conduct while applying the soap of omniscient Lords' words and the water of detachment..."

& Shrimadji said... "Who can give justice to my words unless one has purity at heart?" "If everyone could correctly evaluate the words of enlightened, the salvation would have been in easy reach."

& Shrimadji said... This blessed human life has been obtained as a result of much accumulated wholesome Karma. Alas, however, that not a single round of life cycle has been reduced thereby! At least bear in mind that true happiness is lost by endeavoring for worldly pleasure. Why then relish a life style that involves frightful spiritual death every moment!
