"Divine Pangs Of Love, Which Words Cannot Touch..."

& Shrimadji said... "Only the one afflicted feels it and knows it; only he thirsts for Him. 
Only he calls out for the beloved with the intense yearning of his heart. 
How can one describe these Divine pangs of love, which words cannot touch?"

"There Is No Illness Like Delusion About The Soul..."

& Shrimadji said... "There is no illness like delusion about the soul; no well-versed doctor like the true Guru; no whole-some diet like the percept of the Guru; and no medicine like contemplation and meditation..."

"The Aspirant For Self-Realisation..."

& Shrimadji said... "One who has subsidence of passion, who has the only desire for liberation, who is grieved on rebirths, who has compassion in his heart, is called the aspirant for self-realisation..."

"To Remain With Your Innermost Self Or Soul..."

& Shrimadji said... "the thoughtful person (Vicharvan) is neither happy nor unhappy about leaving this body behind (about death). 


For him, the only death is turning away from the awareness of consciousness of soul or Atman. 


Not to be peaceful within oneself but to seek happiness outside (vibhava parinati) is the greatest loss and death itself. 


To be one with your own nature to rest into knowledge only and to remain with your innermost self or soul, or the strongest desire for such a state of being removes even the fear of death."

"your Heart Is Touched By The Desire For Liberation..."

& Shrimadji said..."It gives me great satisfaction to see that your heart is touched by the desire for liberation. 


The aspiration that the cycles of birth and death since time immemorial should now come to end, is certainly beneficial. 


An opportune time will arrive when that which is desired will be attained..."

"Only Those, Who Are Presently Enlightened, Can Help..."

& Shrimadji said... "Earlier there have been innumerable beings, who were highly enlightened, but they cannot remove the faults of the worldly beings. 


For instance, if one indulges in ego, those earlier enlightened cannot come to point it out; only those, who are presently enlightened, can help in removing that fault. 


The water from far away milky sea cannot quench one's thirst, while if there is a pot of sweet water here, it can quench the thirst..."

"You Shall Experience Infinite... Boundless Joy..."

& Shrimadji said... "Separate from the body, illuminating the Self and the universe, the illuminating lamp - the soul, abide in it. 


O noble ones! Go within, become steady therein,and abiding there you shall experience infinite, boundless joy..."

"Constantly Awakening The Soul..."

& Shrimadji said... " The words of the Enlightened Ones are always consistent, a preceptor to self-realisation and an expounder of unprecedented meaning; and having emerged from experience, they are constantly awakening the soul..."

"Gain the spiritual essence..."

& Shrimadji said... "One, who has the attributes of broad outlook, impartiality, straightforwardness and control over the sense-organs, is utmost worthy to gain the spiritual essence..."

"Valuable human life goes in vain..."

& Shrimadji said... "Those who remain totally involved in deception, greed or illusion for the sake of gaining wealth, are very unhappy. 


They cannot avail the wealth fully or partially; they merely undergo the trouble of procuring it. 


They commit many types of sins and the death takes them away all of a sudden. 


They are destined to the low state of existence; the cycle of their worldly life continues to move unabated. 


Their valuable human life goes in vain; they are invariably miserable..."

"Resorting to the commands of enlightened..."

& Shrimadji said... "Even if one endeavours infinitely on his own, he cannot be enlightened by himself, while by resorting to the commands of enlightened one can attain omniscience within minutes..."

"Viewpoint of the enlightened..."

& Shrimadji said... "The worldly soul has learnt about the soul from the worldly viewpoint, not from the viewpoint of the enlightened. 


One, who has learnt from the enlightened viewpoint, gains the right perception..."

"Means for the path of liberation."

& Shrimadji said... "(The belief of oneness with) The thought activity of attachment, aversion and ignorance is the main knot of Karmas. 


That by which its stoppage occurs is the path of liberation. 


The soul is the Truth (i.e. eternal existence) and consciousness itself, free from all accompaniments like impure thought-activity, body etc. 


That by which such pure soul is attained, is the means for the path of liberation."

"Recognizing the enlightened being..."

& Shrimadji said... "There are three major faults in preventing the people from recognizing the enlightened being; 


one is the ego in the form of 'I know, I understand it' that prevails within. 


The second is the greater attachment for the possessions than that towards the enlightenment. 


The third is turning the face against the enlightened or not to revere them properly because of the fear of popular belief, disgrace or condemnation..."

"Overcome the internal enemies..."

& Shrimadji said..."Forgiving is a sword with which one can overcome the internal enemies; it is an armor to protect the pure character. 


One, who observes equanimity even in unbearable distress with a pure mode, crosses over the worldly sea..."
